Blaufränkisch
The Blaufränkisch is a real "Central European". This old native variety is probably a cross between the varieties Sbulzina and Weißer Heunisch. Widespread mainly in the countries of the former Habsburg monarchy, it is the leading variety in Central Burgenland, called Blaufränkischland.
