Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc, a natural cross between Traminer and Chenin Blanc, originates from the south of France. Pale gold in color, Sauvignon Blanc boasts intense and completely different bouquets depending on the region. The style varies according to origin and winemaking methods: from crisp Loire wines with gooseberry and citrus aromas, to minerality with peach notes in South Tyrol, to fruit-driven playfulness from New Zealand. In southern Styria, a fruity-tart interplay of currants, gooseberries, and tropical fruits dominates , while with greater ripeness, Sauvignon Blanc develops into a very robust and spicy wine.
