Position

The French commune of Vosne-Romanée is home to legendary Grand Crus such as Chemin des Moines and Romanée-Conti – it is considered the crown jewel of Burgundy. The calcareous, iron-rich soils impart profound aromas of roses, truffles, and black cherries to the Pinot Noirs. The wines are complex, age-worthy, and among the most expensive in the world. The continental climate and traditional vinification methods, including extended aging in barriques, shape their unique character.

Grape varieties

Pinot Noir from Burgundy is considered the king of red wines: delicate, yet profoundly complex. The chalky soils and cool climate produce wines characterized by red berries, violets, undergrowth, and a subtle spiciness. Whether from the Côte de Nuits (powerful, long-lived) or the Côte de Beaune (elegant, silky), Burgundy Pinot Noir enchants with its finesse, silky tannins, and unforgettable length.
