Arachon – T.FX.T 2019 MAGNUM

Arachon is perhaps Austria's most famous red wine: a joint project of the renowned Austrian wineries Szemes (Mittelburgenland), FX Pichler (Wachau), and Tement (Südsteiermark), cultivated in Mittelburgenland, it has been delighting the Austrian wine scene since 1996. The 2019 vintage presents itself as an elegant, terroir-driven red wine with delicate spice and a slightly aged, lighter red hue. On the nose, the typical Blaufränkisch aromas of dark berries and cherries, combined with subtle nougat and roasted notes, create an exceptionally complex bouquet. On the palate, the fine structure of the Bordeaux varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon shines through, complemented by fine-grained tannins and a balanced, easy-drinking character with a long finish.
