Description
The Enkirch Zeppwingert is one of the most impressive steep slopes on the Mosel. The extremely steep slate slopes around Enkirch give the Riesling Sekt a cool, precise minerality and an exceptionally fine tension. Weiser-Künstler interprets the Zeppwingert consciously puristically and terroir-driven with a focus on elegance rather than opulent ripeness.
The 2020 Sekt is incredibly clear and vibrant. The long yeast aging gives it depth and a fine creamy texture, without masking the firm slate minerality. Instead of upfront fruit, this Riesling Sekt clearly focuses on salty tension, herbal spice, and an almost floating lightness.
The organic cultivation and minimalist vinification underline the uncompromising signature of the winery. As a result, the Enkirch Zeppwingert appears very delicate and precise – a Mosel Sekt with enormous tension, elegant perlage, and a long, mineral finish.
