RIEDEL – Black Series Collector's Edition Burgundy Grand Cru

The RIEDEL Burgundy Grand Cru glass is perfect for enhancing the balance between delicacy and fresh, concentrated fruit in light wines. This shape was one of the first "wine-friendly" glasses designed by Claus J. Riedel, the ninth generation of the family business. The wide tulip shape and slightly flared rim accentuate the irresistible sweetness while perfectly balancing the acidity and allowing the alcohol to recede into the background, creating a perfect expression of the wine. This model features a red crystal stem and a black crystal base.

To mark the 40th anniversary of its groundbreaking Sommeliers series, RIEDEL presented the Black Series Collector's Edition. This handcrafted series comprises a selection of key varietal-specific glasses designed to highlight and balance individual wines. Stunning design details underscore the functionality of these glasses: a base crafted from black crystal glass with a red stem, which is then covered in clear glass.
