The Beau Joie demi-sec "Sugar King" is a semi-sweet (sweet) champagne from near the town of Épernay in France. The sparkling wine is encased in a pitch-black "armor," which, in addition to creating a pompous and extravagant first impression, also enhances its "preservation"—firstly, by facilitating the cooling of the sparkling wine, and secondly, by making it easier for the drinker to hold the bottle.
