Description
The KAPELLE parcel within the renowned Zieregg vineyard is one of the most impressive Sauvignon Blanc origins in Southern Styria. The extremely barren coral limestone soils and the high-altitude, cool location directly on the Slovenian border give the wine exceptional precision and mineral tension.
The 2022 vintage is incredibly refined and at the same time profound. The wine appears calm and concentrated, with an almost saline minerality and a taut, elegant structure. Instead of expressive fruit, Tement clearly focuses on origin, texture, and length here.
The biodynamic cultivation and the very careful vinification emphasize the purist style of the wine. This creates a Sauvignon Blanc with enormous clarity and Burgundian elegance – complex, mineral, and with exceptional aging potential.
