Eichberg-Trautenburg lies between Gamlitz and Leutschach and is characterized by light gravel and sandy soils as well as steep, exposed slopes at an altitude of 450 to 600 meters. The cool microclimate and the proximity to the Koralpe mountain range ensure a late ripening of the grapes. The wines, especially Sauvignon Blanc and Morillon, are fresh, spicy, and refined, with a moderate alcohol content.
Morillon: This is a very special Chardonnay from Styria. This Burgundy grape variety yields more robust white wines with structure, depth, and substance, often with ripe fruit and distinct minerality. Ideal for Styrian wine lovers with a slightly higher standard.
