"Hauts Bourgeois" Premier Cru shows the particularly terroir-driven and precise signature of Brice Allouchery. The single vineyard ("Lieu-Dit d'Origine") gives the Champagne a clear identity with striking mineral tension and great depth. The chalky soils of the Montagne de Reims provide structure, freshness, and a very elegant line. Allouchery works consciously in an artisanal and nature-oriented way, which makes the origin and vintage particularly transparent.
