Beschreibung
The Champagne from the single vineyard Le Mont de Tauxières in Bouzy, produced by Georges Remy, is an outstanding example of Champagne from the Montagne de Reims region. Remarkably expressive, the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes lend the wine a unique finesse and a balanced harmony between fruit and structure. Extended aging with natural cork underscores the uncompromising and purist winemaking style. A total of 1,060 bottles exist from this vintage.
Georges Remy has been managing his family's winery in Bouzy, Montagne de Reims, since 2014. His champagnes are known for their intense concentration and the influence of new barriques. The exceptional terroir of Bouzy, ideal for full-bodied Pinot Noir, combined with organic farming and meticulous vineyard work, contributes to this quality and makes Georges Remy's champagnes some of the most exciting discoveries in the region.
