This Pinot Noir from Meyer-Näkel, from the VDP.GROSSEN LAGE Sonnenberg vineyard, is a complex wine with earthy, herbal, and pronounced fruity aromas. Dark and red berries, a touch of cherry, pepper, and malt combine with fine acidity and distinct minerality to create a substantial wine. A Pinot Noir with fine tannins, good substance, persistence on the palate, and a juicy, mineral finish.

Expressive bouquet of blackberry, plum, blueberry and black cherry, notes of dark chocolate, oriental spices and black tea from barrel aging.
On the palate, silky and dense with fresh, lively acidity and firm, finely structured tannins; the long finish is accompanied by mulberry, plum, and a mineral core.
