In 2023, the wine appears lively and energetic, yet incredibly calm and focused in its structure. The Pinot Noir combines juicy red and darker fruit with subtle spice and a silky, fresh texture. Despite its depth, the wine never feels heavy or massive, but very clear and harmonious. It is precisely this combination of Corton character and elegance that makes "Les Combes" particularly distinctive.
The oak aging remains subtle and exceptionally well-integrated, ensuring that the origin and vintage remain uncompromisingly at the forefront. As a result, the Aloxe-Corton rouge exhibits a very classic Côte de Beaune style – mineral, silky, and with a long, elegant finish.
