The “Roxanne” Bianco 2025 is the white counterpart to the wine line named after the famous The Police song. Produced as a Toscana IGT, it deliberately represents an uncomplicated, fresh side of the winery. The focus is on fruit, vibrancy, and drinkability—less on opulent aging and more on the clear and accessible style of a young Tuscan white wine.
The grapes are processed gently and fermented under temperature-controlled conditions. The aging process focuses on freshness and aromatic clarity, ensuring the wine retains its youthful character. Especially with the 2025 vintage, the emphasis is on a straightforward style that suits its Mediterranean origin and the uncomplicated philosophy of the Roxanne line.
In the glass, it reveals a lively Toscana Bianco with bright fruit, citrus notes, and floral accents. Fresh acidity and a subtle mineral note provide balance. A versatile white wine that works well both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to light Mediterranean cuisine.
The Tenuta Il Palagio is located in the hills of Tuscany south of Florence and is owned by Sting and Trudie Styler. The historic estate was carefully revitalized by the couple over many years. In addition to olive groves and other agricultural land, viticulture now plays a central role. The management is based on ecological principles and combines the tradition of the estate with a modern interpretation of Tuscan wines.
