Description
Guerila's Rebula "Amphora" 2022 offers arguably the most authentic and distinctive interpretation of the indigenous Rebula grape variety. The biodynamically cultivated vineyards in the Vipava Valley and the aging in clay amphorae lend the wine exceptional depth, structure, and individuality. Guerila is one of the pioneers of natural winemaking in Slovenia and is known for wines with an unadulterated expression of their origin.
The 2022 vintage is complex yet remarkably precise. The long maceration period gives the wine complexity and a distinctive texture without sacrificing its freshness and elegance. Instead of primary fruit or immediate accessibility, the Rebula "Amphora" focuses on tension, structure, and character. It is precisely this combination of herbal spice, mineral depth, and fine tannin structure that makes the wine particularly fascinating.
Aging in traditional clay amphorae emphasizes the authenticity and terroir character of the grape variety. This results in a unique orange wine with exceptional personality, powerfully reflecting Guerila's modern yet authentic style.
