Description
The Chambolle-Musigny “Vieilles Vignes” 2024 from Domaine Heresztyn-Mazzini is a delicate and expressive Pinot Noir that wonderfully reflects the elegant side of the Côte de Nuits. The old vines give the wine additional depth and concentration, without losing the typical finesse of Chambolle-Musigny.
In the glass, the 2024 vintage shows clear, juicy fruit. Red cherries, raspberries, and redcurrants combine with floral notes of violets, as well as a fine spicy and earthy nuance. On the palate, the wine appears elegant and precise, with silky tannins and a lively freshness.
The Vieilles Vignes provide substance and aromatic depth, while the wine remains light-footed and finely structured overall. In the long finish, in addition to the red fruit, mineral, floral, and subtly spicy accents increasingly emerge. A characterful Chambolle-Musigny with great finesse and good aging potential.
