Emrich-Schönleber – Riesling Halenberg GG 2023

The Riesling Halenberg GG 2023 from the eponymous, almost legendary steep slope on the Nahe It impresses with its finely structured, salty-mineral character, shaped by blue slate and quartzite soils . In the glass, aromas of ripe grapefruit, tropical fruits, and a typically spicy-herbal depth unfold, becoming even more complex with age.

On the palate, the 2023 Halenberg impresses with crystalline acidity, delicate density, and an almost ethereal elegance of cassis, peach, and grape. The grapes from the extremely steep vineyard plots produce a wine of great precision and a long, mineral finish – a masterpiece of terroir and Schönleber's craftsmanship.
