Grohwein, established since 1948 in Rheinhessen, offers authentic, sophisticated wines ranging from straightforward to complex, featuring notes of wood. Committed to nature and free from animal products, this winery produces exceptional wines. The coal-black concept line pays tribute to founder Heinrich Groh, who transformed from a coal merchant in the 1930s to a renowned wine producer. The estate was among the pioneers in the 1980s for producing barrel-aged white wines, notably Chardonnay. Resulting in wines of distinction suitable for any occasion.
