The Pichler-Krutzler Riesling Loiben 2024 originates from the famous vineyards around Loiben in the Wachau, a region renowned for particularly elegant and mineralic Rieslings. The combination of barren primary rock soils, warm days, and cool nights along the Danube gives the wine great tension, clarity, and a distinctive sense of origin.
The 2024 vintage yielded very precise and well-balanced Rieslings. The long ripening period ensured a harmonious combination of freshness, structure, and depth, making the wine appear consistently refined and elegant despite its expressive power.
