Hermannsberg is a VDP.Große Lage (Grand Cru) vineyard in the Nahe region with a south-southwest exposure and volcanic and schistose soils. The Rieslings are powerful, mineral, and complex, with good acidity and typical Nahe precision.

 

Grape varieties

Riesling from the Nahe Valley is characterized by the diverse soils of slate, quartzite, and volcanic rock. The wines display aromas of ripe apples, citrus, and a delicate herbal spiciness, combined with a firm, invigorating acidity, noticeable minerality, and a very sharp precision.
