The Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune “En Château Clos” Monopole 2023 holds a special position within the range. As a Monopole, the vineyard plot in question is entirely owned or exclusively managed by the winery. The site is located in the higher-altitude Hautes-Côtes de Beaune above Pommard, where the cooler microclimate gives the Pinot Noir additional freshness and tension.
The Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, in particular, have developed into a particularly interesting origin for Pinot Noir in recent years. The higher altitudes ensure longer ripening periods and help to combine fruit, freshness, and structure. The warm and balanced 2023 vintage brings a beautiful ripeness without losing the vibrancy typical of these higher elevations.

The Domaine Violot-Guillemard is based in Pommard and stands for a very terroir-driven interpretation of Burgundy.
