The Riesling "Brand" Grand Cru 2024 by Albert Boxler (more info about the winemaker) is an exceptionally precise and energetic Riesling from one of Alsace's great vineyards. The Grand Cru Brand near Turckheim is characterized by barren granite soils and is one of the warmer sites in the region. It is precisely this combination of warmth and stony subsoil that gives the wine its special character: ripe fruit meets a striking mineral tension and impressive freshness.
The 2024 vintage is straightforward, clear, and exceptionally lively. On the palate, the wine has great drive and a tight structure, yet remains juicy and elegant. Citrus fruit and light stone fruit are accompanied by a stony, slightly smoky minerality. Especially in the long finish, a fine salty note emerges, giving the wine additional depth and precision. A great, dry Alsatian Riesling with a lot of personality and excellent aging potential.

Lemon, grapefruit, and Mirabelle plum combine with white peach, subtle floral notes, and a stony-smoky minerality.
Tight and precise with lively acidity, juicy citrus fruit and a distinct mineral tension. The long finish is fresh, saline and very clear.
