The 2023 Riesling Zeltinger Schlossberg BÖMER from the Selbach-Oster winery on the Moselle is a dry white wine of exceptional quality (VDP.Große Lage). On the nose, the wine displays notes of fresh garden herbs, a touch of chard, and a good dose of crushed slate. The palate offers a blend of yellow fruits, a hint of herbs, and a saline minerality. An excellent accompaniment to fish and seafood, whether fresh, grilled, or steamed. It is equally well-suited to classic braised dishes of chicken, veal, and pork with light sauces that are not overly roasted.
