The Santenay Rouge “Clos des Tavannes” 1er Cru 2023 from Domaine Lucien Muzard & Fils ( learn more about the winemaker) is a characterful Pinot Noir from one of Santenay's most renowned Premier Cru sites. The calcareous and clayey soils give the wine depth, structure, and a delicate mineral note. With great care in the vineyard and gentle vinification, a Burgundy is created that harmoniously combines power and elegance.
In the glass, it presents itself with clear fruit, silky tannins, and a vibrant freshness. Its complex character and long, elegant finish make it a wine that delights even when young and also possesses excellent aging potential.
