Description

The Ried Zoppelberg is one of the most exciting Riesling sites in Southern Styria. The high-altitude vineyards around Gamlitz benefit from cool nights, excellent air circulation, and meager soils, resulting in particularly precise and mineral wines.

The 2022 vintage produced Rieslings with great expression and beautiful balance. The wine appears clear and focused, with a delicate tension and that typical South Styrian freshness that gives it elegance and length.

Dreisiebner Stammhaus focuses on a reduced winemaking approach to preserve the origin of the site as unadulterated as possible. As a result, the Zoppelberg displays a lot of character, mineral depth, and a straightforward style with great development potential.
