Description
The Hochsulz vineyard is one of Southern Styria's prominent Sauvignon Blanc sites. The steep slopes around Gamlitz, characterized by calcareous soils and cool air currents, produce particularly precise and exciting wines. It is precisely this combination of warmth and freshness that gives the site its characteristic style.
The 2023 vintage is very clear and focused. The wine appears lively and straightforward, with great mineral tension and an elegant structure. Instead of exaggerated aromatics, the Hochsulz focuses on precision, freshness, and origin.
Dreisiebner Stammhaus works with great sensitivity during vinification to preserve the characteristics of the site. As a result, this Sauvignon Blanc displays a modern Southern Styrian style: mineral, elegant, and with a long, animating finish.
