The Nuits-Saint-Georges “Les Vallerots” 2023 from Bertrand Machard de Gramont is an expressive Pinot Noir that combines the typical structure of Nuits-Saint-Georges with a fine, fresh, and elegant style. The wine possesses beautiful depth but remains precise and by no means heavy.
On the nose, it reveals a blend of juicy cherries, raspberries, and darker forest berries. This is complemented by floral hints, delicate herbs, and subtle earthy spice. With some aeration, the wine opens further, developing increasingly mineral and spicy facets.
