Description
Ried Saziani is one of the great sites in the Styrian Volcanic Land and produces particularly profound Burgundy varieties. The volcanic soils around Straden give the Pinot Gris a striking mineral tension and a very distinctive, elegant style. As a Große STK Lage (GSTK), Saziani stands for uncompromising origin character and great aging potential.
The 2023 vintage is exceptionally precise and calm. The Pinot Gris appears taut and focused, yet complex and multi-layered. Instead of broad power, Neumeister deliberately focuses on balance, fine structure, and a cool, terroir-driven elegance.
Organic cultivation and reduced aging emphasize the origin of the site and give the wine a clear, almost Burgundian signature. As a result, Ried Saziani shows great mineral depth, salty tension, and a long, harmonious finish with exceptional finesse.
