Description
The Frauwallner Sauvignon Blanc Ried Buch GSTK 2023 is an outstanding Sauvignon Blanc from Southern Styria and is one of the top wines of the Frauwallner winery. Ried Buch is one of the best sites in the region and is known for its calcareous soils, which lend the wines precise minerality and an elegant structure. The warm climate of Southern Styria, characterized by cool air currents, ensures a perfect balance between ripeness, freshness, and aromatic expressiveness.
For this Sauvignon Blanc from Austria, the grapes were selectively hand-picked and gently processed to optimally reflect the high quality of the site. The wine is aged with great sensitivity, partly in wood and partly in stainless steel tanks, which preserves both structure and freshness. Aging on the lees gives the wine additional depth, complexity, and a fine texture.
