Description
The Meursault “Poruzot” 1er Cru 2024 from Domaine Jean-Marie Bouzereau is an expressive Chardonnay that harmoniously combines power and elegance. The Premier Cru site of Poruzot produces a Meursault with great substance, yet underpinned by freshness and a fine mineral tension.
In the glass, the 2024 vintage presents itself as complex and precise. Ripe yellow fruits, apple, and stone fruit form the aromatic core, accompanied by floral and finely nutty nuances. On the palate, the wine possesses a smooth, concentrated texture, beautifully balanced by a vibrant acidity. This makes it appear fresh and elegant despite its richness.
With a little aeration, additional depth develops: fine spice, subtle oak notes, and a mineral, slightly salty vein complement the fruit. The finish is long, clear, and harmonious. A sophisticated Meursault Premier Cru with great character and excellent potential for further bottle aging.
