Description
The Ried Nussberg Stauder is one of the most elegant Pinot Blanc vineyards in Southern Styria. The chalky soils and cool high altitude give the wine a precise structure and a fine, saline minerality. As a Große STK Lage (GSTK), Nussberg Stauder stands for uncompromising regional character and exceptional aging potential.
The 2021 vintage produced particularly clear and focused wines. The Pinot Blanc appears calm and profound, yet taut and incredibly precisely structured. Instead of overt fruit, Gross deliberately focuses on tension, minerality, and a delicate Burgundian elegance.
The careful vinification supports the wine's structure and complexity without overshadowing the terroir of the vineyard. As a result, Nussberg Stauder shows great finesse, mineral depth, and a long, harmonious finish with great elegance and aging potential.
