Beschreibung
The Riesling Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker 1G comes from the northernmost vineyard of the municipality of Deidesheim. It combines the delicate fruity elegance and cool spice of Deidesheim with the expressive character of the neighboring northern municipality of Forst. Aging on the lees in large double-piece casks lends it a subtle creaminess and carries the white fruit and floral notes. On the nose, aromas of mirabelle plum, peach, and mandarin unfold, underscored by delicate wood nuances, tobacco, and a mineral depth. Add to that fresh, tart citrus aromas and a firm yet ripe acidity – this Riesling is a fine companion for many occasions.
