The Riesling Deidesheimer Grainhübel It comes from vineyards right on the doorstep of the Winning winery. The soils of the south-facing slopes have a high proportion of weathered variegated sandstone, marly clay, and Tertiary limestone. Thanks to spontaneous fermentation and patient aging on the lees in French oak tonneaux, the nose initially reveals delicate almond notes, along with hints of white tea, fragrant buddleia, and intense notes of white peach. A cool herbal spiciness, reminiscent of mint and lemon balm, hovers over these aromas. On the palate, it is juicy and precise, with invigorating acidity and a long, spicy-fruity finish. Refined and light-footed, this Riesling is a must-try for any discerning wine lover.
