Description
Neumeister's 2013 Pinot Noir Steiermark presents a particularly elegant and mature interpretation of the grape variety from the Styrian Volcanic Land. The cool nights and volcanic soils around Straden lend the wine a fine mineral tension and a precise, Burgundian-influenced style.
The 2013 vintage produced very balanced and long-lived Pinot Noirs. With age, the wine now appears calm and complex, yet taut and harmoniously structured. Instead of focusing on power, Neumeister consciously emphasizes finesse, structure, and a subtle, elegant depth.
The careful aging in oak barrels supports the wine's complexity without overshadowing its origin. As a result, the Pinot Noir displays great character, mineral clarity, and a long, silky finish with exceptional elegance.
