Neumeister's Pinot Noir Steiermark Bio 2022 offers a particularly elegant and precise interpretation of the grape variety from Styria's Volcanic Land. The cool nights and volcanic soils around Straden lend the wine great tension, fine minerality, and a clear, Burgundian style.
The 2022 vintage yielded very balanced and harmonious Pinot Noirs. The wine appears delicately and calmly structured, yet profound and full of character. Instead of aiming for power, Neumeister consciously focuses on finesse, structure, and an elegant line.
Organic cultivation and careful aging in wooden barrels underscore the wine's origin and give it additional depth and balance. As a result, the Pinot Noir shows great precision, fine spice, and a long, silky finish with great aging potential.
