Description
The Pichler-Krutzler Riesling In der Wand 2024 comes from a cool and steep Wachau site, characterized by meager primary rock soils and striking terraces. The special combination of exposed hillside, large temperature differences, and the influence of the Danube gives the wine a precise structure and pronounced minerality.
The 2024 vintage produced particularly clear and elegant Rieslings. The long ripening period allowed for slow development of the grapes and ensured plenty of tension, freshness, and a fine balance between expression and finesse.
Pichler-Krutzler focuses on natural winemaking and a very reduced vinification process to ensure that the origin of the site remains central. The Riesling "In der Wand" thus presents itself as straightforward, mineral, and long-lasting. A characterful Wachau Riesling with much elegance and depth.
