The 2024 Riesling Herrenberg GG is a Grosses Gewächs (Grand Cru) from the legendary Herrenberg monopole vineyard of the Maximin Grünhaus winery on the Ruwer River. The wine impresses with a complex bouquet of yellow peach, ripe apricot, delicate flowers, lemon balm, and verbena.
On the palate, it is concentrated, with a stony core, salty, herbal, tightly knit structure, and a long finish. A masterpiece from the red Devon vineyards, perfectly representing the terroir and tradition of this prestigious estate on the Ruwer River.
