Description
The Ried Steinbach is one of the coolest and most mineral-rich sites in Southern Styria. The lime and slate-rich soils lend the Pinot Blanc a precise structure and a fine, saline tension that is typical of this origin. The cool microclimate, in particular, ensures great elegance and clear lines.
The 2020 vintage produced particularly harmonious and profound wines. The Pinot Blanc appears calm and focused, yet powerful and complex. Instead of opulent fruit, Lackner-Tinnacher consciously focuses on balance, minerality, and a refined Burgundian style.
Organic cultivation and careful vinification emphasize the origin of the site and give the wine additional depth and structure. As a result, the Ried Steinbach shows great precision, elegant tension, and a long, harmonious finish with great development potential.
