The 2022 Château Faugères presents itself in a particularly impressive form. The warm vintage brings plenty of density, ripeness, and concentration, yet the chalky high altitudes of Saint-Émilion ensure that the wine, despite its power, remains astonishingly precise and fresh. It is precisely this tension between opulence and minerality that gives Faugères its distinctive character.
