Description
The Ried Theresienhöhe is one of the most elegant Sauvignon Blanc sites in Southern Styria. The high-altitude vineyards with their lime-rich soils and cool microclimate ensure a particularly precise and mineral style. The "THERESE" selection from Polz represents a particularly fine and terroir-driven interpretation of this site.
The 2023 vintage shows a lot of tension and clarity. The wine appears taut and focused, yet calm and very harmoniously structured. Instead of intense fruit, THERESE deliberately focuses on minerality, structure and cool elegance.
Polz works with great sensitivity and restrained vinification, so that the origin of the site remains clearly in focus. As a result, the wine shows a modern Southern Styrian style with fine salty tension, precise structure and a long, elegant finish.
