Description
The Ried Theresienhöhe is one of the most elegant Sauvignon Blanc sites in Southern Styria. The chalky soils and cool altitude lend the wine a particularly fine, mineral style with great tension and precision. The " &Zeit" line at Polz stands for wines that gain depth and complexity through additional maturation and patience.
The 2021 vintage produced exceptionally clear and long-lived Sauvignon Blancs. The wine appears calm and focused, yet profound and multifaceted. Instead of overt fruitiness, Polz deliberately focuses on structure, salty minerality, and an elegant, almost Burgundian style.
The reduced vinification and additional maturation time give the wine enormous balance and length. As a result, the Theresienhöhe &Zeit shows great precision, mineral clarity, and a long, complex finish with great development potential.
